Learning Support Teacher
Brandywine Heights Area School District, Topton (Berks County), Pennsylvania, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Secondary Learning Support Teacher to facilitate student learning for academic and life skills, and develop the attitudes that contribute to fulfilling their potential as mature, able, and responsible citizens.
About the role
The Learning Support Teacher provides appropriate instructional activities to students; develops or modifies curricula, and prepares lessons and other instructional materials according to ability levels, disabilities, and impairments of students.
Requirements
- PA K-12 Special Education certification (required)
- PA Secondary English certification (required)
- Reading Specialist and/or additional subject area certifications (preferred)
Schedule
Contracted full-time position beginning at the start of the 2026-27 school year, approximately August 18, 2026, following School Board approval and completion of pre-employment requirements.
Pay
Competitive salary considering experience, education, and certification according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
