Responsibilities
- Instructional Design & Content Development
- Design and develop interactive training content (eLearning, instructor-led, blended) using Articulate 360, Camtasia, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Apply instructional design best practices to create engaging, effective, and accessible materials.
- Update and maintain existing courses to ensure accuracy, compliance, and relevance.
- Facilitation & Delivery
- Deliver instructor-led and virtual training sessions with confidence and energy.
- Use adult learning principles to foster participation, engagement, and knowledge retention.
- Support logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, materials, and participant communications.
- LMS Support & Administration
- Affiliate with subject matter experts to translate technical content into learner-friendly training.
- Gather learner feedback and adjust content and facilitation methods as needed.
- Stay current on learning technologies and recommend fresh approaches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or training facilitation.
- Proficiency with Articulate 360, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills with experience leading training sessions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in a defense or technology organization.
- Instructional design or training certifications (e.g., ATD, CPTD, Kirkpatrick).
Pay
Virginia, Pay Transparency Salary range: USD $95,000.00/Yr. - USD $120,000.00/Yr.
