Crossover · Springfield, MA · 1 wk ago
Education$100k/yrFull-time
What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating hour-long life skill workshops covering public speaking, concentration, teamwork, and feedback exchange, adjusting your delivery and engagement style for Pre-K through 8th grade age ranges
- Conducting daily individual and small-group coaching sessions to examine student progress in adaptive learning platforms (via Coachbot analytics), establish objectives, and drive students toward completing 100% of weekly benchmarks
- Overseeing and assessing Test2Pass evaluations to verify genuine mastery of each life skill rather than mere attendance
- Providing focused interventions when students lag academically or in engagement levels—diagnosing underlying issues and creating targeted recovery strategies
- Cultivating authentic connections with each student so they develop sufficient trust to receive your coaching through moments of resistance, distraction, and uncertainty
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Conducting lectures or providing conventional academic instruction (core academic content is delivered through adaptive applications, not by you)
- Developing lesson plans or creating curriculum independently (Alpha supplies life skills frameworks; your responsibility is to execute them with enthusiasm and narrative skill)
- Handling parent communication or administrative functions (Campus Leads manage these areas; your attention remains on students)
- Handling homework assignments or preparing students for standardized testing (these elements are absent from Alpha's model)
- Operating independently without collaboration (you work within a campus team alongside Lead Guides, Campus Leads, and colleagues who exchange feedback and maintain mutual accountability)
About the Role
Guarantee that every student in your assigned cohort develops a love for school, achieves mastery in critical life skills, and completes 100% of their academic objectives through adaptive learning technology.
