About the role

At Imagine Learning, you'll help shape high-quality English Language Arts learning experiences for K–12 students across the United States. Working alongside curriculum experts, content developers, and product teams, you'll create, review, and refine instructional and assessment materials that support meaningful learning outcomes. Your expertise will help ensure content is accurate, engaging, standards-aligned, and ready for publication.

Responsibilities

  • Create and review ELA instructional and assessment content across reading, writing, language, and literature products.
  • Analyze academic standards and curriculum requirements to develop content-planning materials and blueprints.
  • Write and edit lessons, assignments, assessments, text-dependent questions, and writing prompts.
  • Apply instructional design principles and content development best practices.
  • Collaborate with Curriculum Development stakeholders to ensure quality and pedagogical consistency.
  • Support standards alignment documentation and state adoption requirements.
  • Conduct content-related research and contribute to multiple product initiatives.
  • Update development documentation, guidelines, and process resources.
  • Manage priorities effectively while meeting project timelines and quality standards.
  • Utilize content development tools, research resources, and content management systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, English Language Arts, Literature, Education, or a related field.
  • 4–9 years of relevant experience creating, reviewing, or editing ELA instructional or assessment content.
  • Experience supporting K–5 or 6–12 ELA curriculum development.
  • Strong knowledge of reading comprehension, writing instruction, grammar, vocabulary, and literary analysis.
  • Familiarity with content development and AI-assisted authoring tools.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with content management systems.
  • Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Role Details

Employment Type: Regular, Full-Time
Reporting to: Curriculum Development Manager
Work Model: Hybrid in the Kadubeesanahalli area of Bengaluru
Location / Shift: Bengaluru, India | 1 PM to 10 PM

Pay
