About the role

The Learning and Development Manager CHEF’STORE supports the development of a robust Learning and Development platform to enhance employee potential. This role is crucial for driving leadership, professional, and functional development.

Responsibilities

  • Manage current programs and develop improvements based on business needs.
  • Partner with leaders to define learning and development needs and key messages.
  • Design strategies to meet technical knowledge and skill-building needs.
  • Create and implement training materials and interventions.
  • Conduct needs assessments and determine education and learning priorities.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and business leaders to develop learning solutions.
  • Apply design principles for various training programs.
  • Determine training plans to address performance gaps.
  • Identify and implement learning solutions, either internally or externally.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to solve performance and learning challenges.
  • Develop and conduct train-the-trainer sessions.
  • Evaluate job readiness and performance using measurement systems.
  • Facilitate and lead instructor roles as needed.
  • Manage multiple projects with varying levels of complexity.
  • Provide indirect leadership to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in needs analysis, instructional design, material development, and training implementation.
  • Well-versed in adult learning principles and teaching methods.
  • Familiarity with various instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience in learning evaluation models.
  • Expertise in creating learning materials across different platforms.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage projects independently.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills and excellent graphic design abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Training and Development, or related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with project management or process improvement mechanisms.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Schedule
