About the role

This is a foundational position for an experienced Learning & Development professional to build and scale learning initiatives across the employee lifecycle. The role involves defining the learning strategy, maturing existing programs, and creating new ones to support employee, manager, and leader growth. While some programs exist, many will need to be built from the ground up. The individual will identify high-impact opportunities, design practical solutions, and deliver measurable outcomes. This role reports to the Head of People and collaborates closely with leaders across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the organization's learning and development strategy, identifying capability gaps and prioritizing initiatives with measurable business impact.
  • Design, build, and continuously improve learning programs across the employee lifecycle, including company onboarding, department onboarding, fraud education, manager development, leadership development, and ongoing professional growth.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand capability needs and create practical learning solutions that enhance individual and organizational performance.
  • Design and facilitate engaging workshops, training sessions, and learning experiences for employees, managers, and leaders.
  • Improve knowledge access and sharing by building scalable learning resources, documentation, and self-service tools.
  • Measure the effectiveness of learning programs and use data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Act as the primary owner for learning and development, balancing long-term strategy with hands-on execution.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience in Consulting (leading learning, change management, or organizational effectiveness workstreams), Learning & Development, Talent Development, or a similar field.
  • Experience building and scaling learning programs, not just delivering existing content.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Strong program management skills and the ability to independently drive initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Experience designing practical, engaging learning experiences for adult learners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments where many programs will be built from scratch.
  • Curious, collaborative, pragmatic, and highly execution-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a startup or high-growth technology company.
  • Experience supporting technical organizations.
