About the role

Our LEAP (Leadership, Experiences, Applications, Performance) Program is dedicated to developing the skills and competencies of its associates. Through this internship opportunity, you will gain exposure to our brands and products, learn how we measure financial success, apply Lean thinking methodologies for superior quality, and engage with the core processes driving our business.

This internship provides experiential learning opportunities, including day-to-day field experience, special project ownership, and formal presentation opportunities. You will learn from associates and leaders in your field of interest, including Executive Leadership, and be assigned a mentor for industry and career advice.

Responsibilities

  • Gain a strong understanding of how your area of study applies in a Manufacturing Environment through training, process shadows, and on-the-job experience.
  • Develop and strengthen competencies required for your internship.
  • Identify trends and recommend solutions within your area of focus.
  • Develop conflict resolution and relationship management skills.
  • Stay current with industry and macroeconomic trends by reading relevant publications.
  • Demonstrate self-starting initiative and high motivation.
  • Lead and/or participate in projects: define objectives, develop project plans, create agendas, facilitate meetings, manage timelines and deliverables, communicate updates, and create contingency plans.
  • Complete financial and/or data analysis as required.
  • Deliver superior customer service (internally or externally).
  • Interact with various levels of corporate leadership, customers, vendors/suppliers, and employees to solve problems.
  • Enhance ability to effectively communicate, influence, and interact with all types of customers, contractors, and co-workers.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Previous internship and/or co-op experience preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interface effectively with customers and employees.
  • Ability and desire to work in a hands-on, industrial environment.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive meaningful results.
  • Strong academic record.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in critical thinking, leadership, business acumen, project management, relationship building, and teamwork through extracurricular activities, work experience, or academics.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe products is a plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.
