Position Responsibilities
- Assists and Instructs others in continuous improvement tools and principles
- Assists in formatting updated training materials
- Led and facilitated (Lean tool certified) process improvement efforts
- Supports advanced continuous improvement tool application
- Participates in strategy development
- Develops and coaches Leaders that are Applying continuous improvement tools and principles
- Comfortable working directly with Directors, Senior Managers and First Line Leaders and contribute to Director level strategies
- Coaches others on BPS Training facilitation
- Supports MBU Kamishibai
- Supports 5S Activities
- Supports One BPS Transformation Assessments
- Led Value Stream Mapping
- Led BPSM and RSPS Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- 5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace
- 5+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams
- 5+ years of experience in a role which required strong interpersonal and communication skills
- 5+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience)
- OR have completed the Boeing internal course 'Exploring Leadership'
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Bachelor degree in engineering discipline
- 5+ years in related work experience
- Experience driving business transformation and/or lean adoption in a manufacturing
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- 5+ years of experience implementing lean principles
- 5+ years of experience teaching Lean+ tools and concepts
- 5+ years of experience working with the Boeing Problem Solving Model
