Position Responsibilities
- Connect Lean principles and strategy to execution and results – mature
- Seek, Speak, Listen and closed loop for continuous improvement
- Develop and deploy systematic approach to capture and replicate innovations and improve best practices
- Represent Lean / continuous improvement function in Program reviews and strategic planning
- Operationalize data analytics into daily Lean practice and priorities
- Instructs others in continuous improvement tools and principles
- Develops and updates instructional materials
- Sets out new tools and techniques
- Tailors message to specific audience level
- Guides the effective application and integration of LEAN implementation
- Leads and facilitates complex and high visibility process improvement efforts
- Develops an integrated strategy and assists with its strategic deployment
- Leads and facilitates the improvement and standardization of enterprise policies and procedures
- Affords business capability and capacity
- Represents the LEAN improvements function in Program reviews
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- 8+ years of experience implementing lean principles, to include identifying opportunities and making recommendations for value stream improvements that resulted in improved business position through culture transformation
- 8+ years of experience planning and facilitating Lean+ workshops (e.g., BPSM /AIW / 3P / Kaizen / VSM, Process Mapping, AIW, DK)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Knowledge and application of the Boeing Production System (BPS)
- Previous experience with business case development, stakeholder alignment, benefits capture, institutionalization, and continuous improvements
