Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Leakage Technician to support operations throughout the North region. The Role You will be responsible for identifying, locating and reporting leaks across clean water networks using advanced leakage detection techniques and industry-leading technology. Working independently in the field, you will play a key role in helping reduce water loss, improve network performance and deliver excellent service standards. Key Responsibilities Carry out proactive leakage detection activities on live water networksUse acoustic leak detection equipment and specialist technology to identify hidden leaksUndertake sounding, correlating, step testing and leak verificationAccurately record survey findings using handheld devices and reporting systemsLiaise with repair teams to ensure leaks are repaired efficientlySupport network investigations and performance improvement activitiesMaintain company equipment and vehicles to a high standardEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures Essential What We’re Looking For Previous experience as a Leakage TechnicianKnowledge of clean water distribution networksExperience using leak detection equipmentFull UK Driving LicenceStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage your workload Desirable Experience using advanced leakage detection technologyEUSR Water Hygiene CardNRSWA qualificationExperience working on UK water utility contractsKnowledge of GIS or network mapping systems What’s On Offer?
