Leads/Finishing-Weekend Shift ($21.28-$23.13 including shift differential)

About the role

This position requires attaching lead wires or terminals to the copper wire, securing and insulating these connectors from each other prior to applying insulating material and the nameplate to the outside layer of the unit per design requirements. Lead installation requires the use of hand tools and operating hydraulic or manual hand crimping tools to crimp connectors used to splice copper wire to lead wire or terminals. Finishing requires using a taping machine and the ability to apply finishing insulation material by hand.

Responsibilities

• Attach lead wires or terminals to copper wire
• Secure and insulate connectors from each other
• Apply insulating material and nameplate to the outside layer of the unit per design requirements
• Operate hand tools and hydraulic or manual hand crimping tools to splice copper wire to lead wire or terminals
• Use a taping machine and apply finishing insulation material by hand
