The Royal Museums Greenwich National Historic Ships UK is seeking a Project Manager for the Development Phase of its Leading Lights project to join their small and friendly team in Greenwich, on a 12-month full time contract.
About the role
- Manage the project scope, schedule, budget, and quality
- Oversee the design and construction of new exhibits and installations
- Collaborate with stakeholders including curators, architects, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Architecture, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project management
- Experience in museum or heritage projects preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Passion for maritime history and cultural heritage
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Project management software proficiency (e.g., Primavera, MS Project)
- Knowledge of museum and heritage industry practices
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
