Business Development$150k/yrFull-time

What You Will Be Doing

  • Facilitating structured one-hour life skills workshops (public speaking, focus, feedback culture) for K-8 cohorts, executing Alpha's established playbook rather than creating content independently
  • Conducting motivation sessions leveraging student data and Alpha's reward architecture (school currency, performance leaderboards) to achieve 100% goal completion across your cohort
  • Developing Guides through coaching focused on program adherence and standards enforcement, ensuring each session yields specific performance improvement actions
  • Sustaining direct responsibility for your own student cohort while simultaneously developing other Guides
  • Monitoring student satisfaction metrics, goal completion percentages, and Guide performance indicators weekly to identify declining performance before it escalates

Basic Requirements

  • Available to work on-site at one of these Alpha campuses: Atlanta, GA; Oklahoma City, OK; Tulsa, OK; Austin, TX; Keller (Fort Worth), TX; The Woodlands (Houston), TX (relocation assistance provided)
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, youth leadership, or comparable field
  • Demonstrated history of leading a team of 5+ adults, including responsibility for hiring decisions and performance-based terminations
  • Hands-on experience working directly with children aged 5-14 in educational or developmental contexts
  • Documented use of data and performance metrics to establish weekly objectives and inform decisions, beyond retrospective reporting

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or related discipline
  • Experience coaching athletics, leading outdoor or experiential education programs, managing camps, or directing youth ministry at a scale requiring cohort management and outcome measurement
  • Transitioned from classroom teaching into program-building or operational roles: EdTech companies, tutoring enterprises, youth-focused nonprofits, or school intervention systems
  • History of exceptional personal performance early in career — academically, athletically, or professionally — prior to leadership transition
  • Conviction that the existing education system requires fundamental redesign and personal commitment to that transformation
