Shifts Available
- Afternoon Shift: 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Sunday–Thursday)
- Overnight Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Saturday–Thursday)
What You’ll Do
As our Lead Warehouse Associate, you’ll be the go-to person for keeping operations organized, efficient, and on track:
- Lead Daily Operations
- Support your Supervisor and guide team members to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals
- Keep workflows running smoothly across dock operations, shipping, and receiving
- Cook trailer routing, scheduling, and sequencing
- Drive Performance & Accountability
- Monitor KPIs and audit the floor to ensure adherence to processes
- Identify gaps, solve problems, and escalate issues when needed
- Communicate shift updates and challenges to maintain alignment
- Manage Inventory Effectively
- Track and manage inventory using ERP/SAP systems
- Lead cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and determine root causes
- Optimize space and ensure proper inventory flow (FIFO)
- Collaborate Across Teams
- Work with internal departments, vendors, and transport partners
- Resolve shipment issues such as delays, shortages, and documentation errors
- Maintain accurate records and reporting
- Support Continuous Improvement
- Participate in Lean initiatives and Operational Excellence programs
- Train and mentor team members, especially on SAP systems
- Help foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and accountability
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Previous experience in a Lead role
- Prior SAP experience
- Experience in a manufacturing or high-volume warehouse environment
- Paper converting, chemical/plastics processing and packaging industrial experience
