Lead Ultrasound Technologist
Job Summary
Supervises Radiology departments and front desk personnel within Medical Imaging. Assists in performing imaging procedures in assigned modalities. Oversees the continuation of providing quality patient care while striving to reduce costs of assigned areas. Maintains a steady workflow through their departments. Oversees the day to day staffing schedules and requirements of their department. Performs radiology exams of patients maintaining a high quality of care and completes all functions associated with procedure in a timely manner. Takes call as necessary. Participates in PI plan. Participates and assists department management with ACR accreditation activities and requirements, including quality assurance programs related to the requirements. Maintains supplies and inventory.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Graduate of an accredited school of radiological technology(RDMS)
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- 3 years post-graduate experience and 2 years supervisory/lead experience preferred
