Lead Ultrasound Technologist

Responsibilities

  • Provide feedback to the Imaging Center Manager (ICM) regarding technologists' performance and quality.
  • Manage, coach, train, support, and motivate team members.
  • Maintain technical skills and alleviate staffing shortages by performing technologist duties.
  • Contribute to hiring and performance evaluations of Ultrasound employees.
  • Act as a proxy for the ICM when they are unavailable.

Qualifications

  • ARDMS certification
  • BLS certification
  • Familiarity with and ability to use RIS, imaging equipment, and PACS
  • Demonstrated ability to meet all required quality standards
