About the role
A lead UI/UX Designer is needed to drive the design vision for our e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, a strong portfolio showcasing innovative designs, and a passion for creating user-friendly interfaces. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and marketing specialists.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement user-centered design strategies that enhance the overall user experience
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for various digital products
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure designs align with business goals and technical feasibility
- Stay updated with the latest trends in UI/UX design and incorporate them into projects
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve designs
- Work closely with the marketing team to align design elements with brand identity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field
- Proven track record of delivering successful UI/UX design projects
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with user research methods and analytics tools
- Understanding of web accessibility guidelines and standards
- Expertise in UI/UX design principles and best practices
- Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first approach
