Lead UI/UX Designer

We are looking for a passionate Lead UI/UX Designer to join our team in San Francisco. You will shape the visual and interactive experience of our products, leading design initiatives from concept to execution in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

About the role

As the Lead UI/UX Designer, you will own the end-to-end design process, mentoring junior designers and partnering with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver intuitive, beautiful, and impactful user experiences. This is a full-time position based in our San Francisco office.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the design language, interaction patterns, and visual style of our products.
• Lead user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and design specs for development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design with business goals and technical constraints.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in UI/UX design.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design projects, including research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions.
