Lead Traveling Security Technician

We are looking to add a Traveling Security Technician to our team. The Security Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, testing and inspecting a wide range of access control and IP Camera products and systems. As a customer facing employee, the Security Technician must be a personable, knowledgeable self-starter who is capable of making sound decisions that are in the best interest of the customer and Unlimited Technology. The Security Technician must possess basic troubleshooting skills and will work under the direction and supervision of various departments.

Responsibilities

• Service and test various Access Control and IP Camera products and platforms
• Read and comprehend engineered drawings
• Have a basic understanding of door hardware installation
• Thoroughly complete all necessary paperwork relating to job tickets
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times
• Communicate all project activity to the UT project manager or appropriate manager in a timely manner

Requirements

• High school diploma or state-recognized equivalent
• At least one (1) to five (5) years of security installation experience and network ability
• Knowledgeable of security equipment systems (i.e., intrusion detection, assessment, and access control)
• Capable of installing and maintaining various alarms, access control, and assessment system devices
• DCJS Certified is required
• Prior troubleshooting experience
• Security industry certifications
• Knowledge of: Software House, Gallagher, Lenel, Hanwha, Bosch or Hirsh
• Ability to travel around the US
• Ability to travel 2 weeks at a time

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and retain a U.S. Government Security Clearance preferred

Pay

$65,000 USD - $90,000 USD
