Lead Transporter - Full Time Nights

About the role

Aids in the daily operations of the Environmental Services Department. Supports all three shifts, seven days a week. Assumes supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with coworkers, patients, and visitors with compassion, courtesy, and professionalism
• Instructs and trains employees in all aspects of the department, including Transport, Linen, Housekeeping, and Waste Management
• Reports issues or concerns as needed on behalf of the supervisor
• Maintains the highest quality standards for the hospital
• Oversees overnight shifts, collaborating with other leads or working independently as needed
• Affixes with scheduling and work assignments
• Ensures staff follow proper procedures for chemical use, cleaning, and equipment care
• Inspects the hospital’s condition and recommends improvements
• Monitors staff to ensure compliance with instructions and safety rules
• Keeps written records and submits shift reports
• Affixes proper waste disposal

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• One year of EVS or Transport experience preferred

Pay

$21.50 - $24.73 per hour
