About the role
The Lead Trainer, TII, plays a critical role in ensuring Travel Insured International (TII) creates a consistent, reliable service experience for its customers. This role designs, develops, and delivers training programs to ensure TII is ready to deliver service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of ongoing TOPS learning strategy with SMEs and key stakeholders, adhering to standards for blended learning.
- Create and deliver training programs that align with organizational competencies and TII's strategic goals.
- Design, develop, and deliver skills-based training that supports new hire and ongoing training programs.
- Coordinate and conduct seminars, workshops, and training sessions for leaders and individual contributors.
- Prepare training materials, such as branded PowerPoint presentations, job aids, videos, and scripts.
- Conduct evaluations to identify areas of improvement and proficiency; provide performance feedback to class and individual training participants.
- Achieve rigorous tracking and accountability for training goals and use data to inform decision-making.
- Ensure continuous improvement in the learning process.
- Deliver training programs to other areas of the A&H Division.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Learning & Development or Training.
- 6+ years of experience in a Learning & Development and/or Training role, with skilled development and delivery in a variety of formats.
- Experience implementing AI Coaching programs.
- Advanced proficiency with eLearning software such as Vyond, Camtasia, and Articulate.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (esp. PowerPoint), Teams/Zoom, SharePoint, and LMS Platforms.
- Prior experience with Workday/Sana LMS.
- Ability to travel 30%, including travel to CT and NJ offices at least once per quarter.
- Experience with instructional design.
- Prior experience in the insurance or financial industry is preferred.
