Lead Tour Guide

Purpose

To present a welcoming atmosphere to the public and conduct guided tours of the facility.

Tasks And Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct tours explaining the brand and manufacturing process.
• Prepare teas and assist customers with product samplings.
• Restock tea and tea bar supplies.
• Communicate stock needs to manager.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow all food preparation safety guidelines.
• Operate cash register accurately.
• Operate ticket counter, answer phone to schedule group tour reservations.
• Availability to work flexible schedule.
• Communicate with management concerning staff and customer needs.
• Additional duties and various projects as needed.
• Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues and initiate action, as necessary.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• One to three years customer service experience.
• Presentation skills – must be able to make presentations to large groups.
• Ability to work in a growing, fast-paced tour environment with a positive attitude.
• Must be reliable and flexible, and available to work weekends, holidays.
• Excellent customer service and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lift 20-40 lbs., carry 20-40 lbs, push/pull 40+ lbs.
• Ability to be on feet throughout the day.
• Ability to meet attendance guidelines.
• Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with all contacts both inside and outside the company.

Compensation And Benefits

• New starting wage is $18.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and location).
