Tour Guide

To present a welcome atmosphere to the public and conduct guided tours of the facility while maintaining the highest safety, food safety and quality, cost, and GMP standards in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct tours explaining the brand and manufacturing process.
• Prepare teas and assist customers with product samplings and surveys.
• Stocking, cleaning, organizing, merchandising, and communicating stock needs.
• Operate cash register accurately.
• Operate ticket counter, answer phone to schedule group tour reservations.
• Rinsing, racking, dishwashing, and restocking sampling cups.
• Operate a steamer to make blended drinks.
• Available to work some weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Communicate with management concerning staff and customer needs.
• Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues and initiate action, as necessary.
• Follow all Food Safety guidelines, including but not limited to:
  • GMP's
  • Allergen Program
  • Quality
  • Sanitation
  • Safety
• Additional duties and various projects as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum one year experience in a tour guide capacity or related role.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• One to three years customer service experience.
• Presentation skills — must be able to make presentations to large groups.
• Ability to work in a growing, fast-paced tour environment with a positive attitude.
• Must be reliable and flexible, and available to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent customer service and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lift 40-60 lbs., carry 20-40 lbs, push/pull 60+ lbs.
• Ability to be on feet throughout the day.
• Ability to meet attendance guidelines.
• Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with all contacts both inside and outside the company.

Pay

Starting wage is $18.05 / hour.
