Lead Toddler Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging children’s intellectual, psychological, and physical growth as a lead teacher. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and creative. If you have a passion for helping children learn and reach their potential, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Plan age appropriate lessons and implement developmentally appropriate practices in classroom
• Update Tadpoles Parent Communication App
• Execute planned lessons and follow daily classroom structure/schedule
• Keep a clean, organized classroom
• Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
• Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a lead teacher in a child care setting
• Strong understanding of child development
• Patient, kind, and nurturing
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA certified)
• Must be able to commit to a 8:00-5:00pm schedule or 8:30am-5:30pm schedule with an hour break

Compensation

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Red Carpet Kids Childcare, LLC offers childcare services. We have been providing excellent care to children and their families for the past 13 years in the areas of Essex County. We help prepare children for kindergarten by teaching them self-help skills, social skills, early math, and many more.
