About the role
The Lead Toddler Teacher is responsible for leading a team of teachers in creating a nurturing and educational environment for toddlers aged 12-36 months. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for early childhood education.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for toddlers
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive learning environment
- Monitor and assess each child's development and progress
- Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on their child's growth and development
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- At least 2 years of experience working with children in a childcare setting
- Valid first aid and CPR certification
- Experience with Montessori or Reggio Emilia methods preferred
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for early childhood education and fostering a love of learning in young children

Pay
Salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually
