Responsibilities
- Observe children’s interests and collaborate with other teachers to develop engaging curricula.
- Communicate with parents through various means, such as mobile apps and personal discussions.
- Engage with other childcare professionals to enhance your career growth.
Requirements
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- A Child Development Associate (CDA) certification is preferred.
- One to two years of relevant experience are required.
- You must have completed state-required pre-service training.
- Develop positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Handle stressful situations professionally and multitask to ensure smooth operations.
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs., with additional requirements for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers.
- Pass a background check.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred.
- Experience working with children and communicating effectively with parents and faculty.
- Ability to lift and handle children safely, especially for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers.
- Supportive and collaborative attitude towards fellow teachers and the school community.
