Lead Toddler Teacher

Building Blocks for Tots of Wilson is a licensed childcare center seeking a Lead Teacher for our Two-Year-Old classroom.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass all background checks
• Associate degree in early childhood education or higher
• Previous childcare experience (a plus)
• Physical ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to effectively substitute for any position as needed, including covering staff members’ breaks, filling in for staff members in their absences, and assuming classroom duties before or after scheduled shifts
• Demonstrate patience, kindness, and positive interactions with all children, parents, and staff
• Operate as a team player and assist where needed under the direction of the lead teacher

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

Pay

$14.00 - $15.00 per hour, based on education and experience
