Lead Toddler Teacher

Job Summary

The Goddard School is seeking assistant teachers for its 1-year-old program at the StuyTown location. We are particularly interested in lead and assistant teachers who want to work for a prestigious school in a fun, supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
• Social and emotional development support for each child
• Positive and effective family relations and communication
• Implementing creative, engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans
• Maintaining routine and structure in the classroom

Requirements

• A minimum of an associate's degree in early childhood education or a related field
• A bachelor's degree is preferred
• Ability to relocate to New York, NY 10009 before starting work

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for early childhood education
