About the role

The Growing Years is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team. This position is responsible for leading a group of toddlers in a nurturing and educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Provide a safe, loving, and stimulating learning environment for toddlers.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure consistent programming and high-quality care.
• Assess each child's developmental progress and communicate with parents regarding their child's growth and needs.
• Participate in regular professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children ages 18 months to 3 years.
• Valid first aid and CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience with Montessori methods preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to lifelong learning.
