Lead Toddler Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment.
• Implement Creative Curriculum, using play-based learning and interest centers to support child development.
• Develop lesson plans that promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth.
• Actively engage with children in activities, extending learning to indoor and outdoor spaces.
• Use informal and formal assessments to track each child's progress and adapt teaching strategies.
• Implement positive behavior management techniques aligned with Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP).
• Collaborate effectively with a team of educators and communicate professionally with families.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development or a related field or CDA with 2+ years of experience.
• First Aid & CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid Utah Driver's License.
• Utah Food Handler's Permit (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Fluent in English (spoken, read, and written).
• Availability to work Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
• Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all licensing regulations.
