Lead Toddler Teacher

About the role

We are in search of a fun-loving person to lead our two's class. You must love young children and be willing to get down on the floor with them, run around outside with them, and engage them in fun and meaningful activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a class of two-year-olds during the school year, with the option of also leading a group during our summer camp
• Create weekly lesson plans and send out weekly newsletters
• Hold twice-yearly parent-teacher conferences and write progress reports
• Coordinate with other classroom and school-wide staff
• Ensure the classroom environment is child-friendly, welcoming, and materials are rotated
• Maintain a clean and well-repaired classroom space
• Assist with diaper changing and potty training

Requirements

• At least 21 credits in early childhood education (Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred)
• Experience working with young children
• Passion for spending time with and caring for children

Nice to haves

• Many years of experience working with young children, especially toddlers
