Job Summary

As a Lead Technician - Security with Bosch Building Technologies, you will collaborate with Project Managers and Sales Teams to install, program, and commission security systems. This role involves providing leadership and support for projects, conducting maintenance, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Install, program, configure, and commission security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, intrusion alarms, and fence detection systems.
  • Oversee project personnel and site operations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure system functionality and reliability.
  • Coordinate and direct technicians, workers, and subcontractors.
  • Organize and maintain efficiency across onsite activities and project goals.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand security requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system installations, maintenance activities, and repairs.
  • Prepare and execute detailed reports and acceptance test plans to meet SLAs and contractual requirements.
  • Stay updated with advancements in security technologies, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Perform administrative duties, including providing project updates and completing required documentation.
  • Be available for on-call rotation support.
  • Utilize technical expertise to mentor colleagues and optimize system performance.
  • Design security systems and develop system layouts as required.

Requirements

  • Progressive leadership experience within the integrated security or low-voltage industry(s).
  • Experience managing integrated security or low-voltage industry(s) projects.
  • Leadership experience in a technical role.
  • Programming experience essential.
  • Experience leading installations at the site level.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant tools and equipment.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean abstract.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Vendor Certification in low voltage systems (e.g., LENEL, GENETEC, MILESTONE, AVIGILON, AMAG, Keyscan, Kantech, SENSTAR, HANWHA, BOSCH, DSC, and others).
  • Post-secondary training in electronics or equivalent.
