The Lead Technician / Crew Chief coordinates, monitors, and performs work activities on residential and commercial projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience. Responsibilities Supervise and perform production work according to SERVPRO® processes and ensure quality controlManage the customer and client experience and overall customer satisfaction tracked with online reviews.Communicate clear expectations to restoration technicians, coach and train them, and supervise their activitiesDocument a detailed and accurate job file to support the services providedMonitor assigned jobs from start to finishManage labor and consumable item usage on assigned projectsCommunicate with production manager and office staff on project progress and issuesManage data using industry software programsCommunicate, follow and enforce all OSHA guidelines for job safetyBe readily available for on-calls and emergencies Requirements Experience in restoration work related to clean up from damage caused by water, fire, and mold is required.Experience leading and supervising a team in the restoration industry is required IICRC certifications highly preferredExperience using industry related software programsAbility to travel locally or out of state when necessaryAbility and willingness to work nights and weekends as requiredAbility to be On-Call as needed Valid driver’s licenseAble to comply with franchise guidelinesEffective written and oral communicationPreferable bilingual (English/Spanish), English is mandatory.
