About the role
The Lead Technician / Mitigation & Restoration is responsible for leading and performing daily mitigation and remediation tasks. They scope the damages and perform necessary services, available 24/7 for on-call and emergency response.
Responsibilities
- Reports directly to the Mitigation Manager
- Is the lead on jobs and performs the daily mitigation/remediation tasks
- Scopes the damages and perform necessary services
- Available 24/7 to work on-call and emergency response hours
- Performs demolition and other labor-intensive tasks
- Directly interfaces with the customers and/or property owners
- Utilize CRM and estimating software to diligently document and manage job progress
Requirements
- Mandatory 1-3+ years experience with water mitigation and restoration
- Must be proficient in estimating software
- Coachable and a desire to always be improving
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to carry heavy loads and equipment
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Qualifications
- Preferred industry certifications: IICRC Water Restoration Technician, IICRC Structural Drying Technician, and/or IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician
Skills
- Proficient in estimating software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to carry heavy loads and equipment
