Lead Technician II

About the role

The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for managing asbestos abatement projects in the Hayward area. This includes overseeing project planning, execution, and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and execution of asbestos abatement projects
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and safety protocols
• Manage project teams to meet deadlines and budget constraints
• Communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and contractors
• Prepare and present project reports and documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in asbestos abatement management
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with project management software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay

$75,000 - $90,000 annually
