In this year-round role, you'll lead a team of exterior service technicians, working in partnership to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. What You'll Do

• Lead a team of exterior service technicians, working in partnership to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Facilitate required on-the-job training on processes, equipment usage, and asset safety practices to ensure an injury-free working environment
• Utilize technology (phones, tablets, laptops) for work order management and record-keeping
• Perform landscaping tasks such as cutting grass, weed management, and other landscaping tasks with or without the use of specialized equipment
• Apply knowledge of planting, pruning techniques, and pest/disease management through chemical applications
• Perform commercial exterior maintenance including irrigation, pressure washing, and exterior building/grounds maintenance
• Troubleshoot and prioritize work with a strong customer service orientation
• Uphold company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics, integrity, and safety

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid state-issued driver's license held for at least 3 years with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification during pre-hire contingency and ability to maintain a minimum of a 90 day Medical Examiner's Certification (MEC) card
• Active EPA 608 certification
• No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three (3) years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years, if driving a commercial motor vehicle
• No serious traffic violations (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last 3 years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle
• No preventable accidents (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last 3 years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle
• Ability to read and speak in the English language as required by section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• 2 years' experience in the landscaping/gardening industry
• Option 1: 1 year's experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area
• Option 2: 2 years' Walmart store experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in horticulture or related area
• Certified nursery and/or landscape professional
• Experience as landscaping/gardening crew leader or supervisor
• Experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Proficient in speaking and understanding Spanish
• State/local licensing where required (for example, Florida, Texas, California, etc.)

Pay

Hourly wage range: $30.00 - $59.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
