What you'll do...

Lead a team of exterior service technicians to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.

About the role

Year-round role focusing on commercial landscape management and exterior building/grounds maintenance to foster a safe and clean environment for valued customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of exterior service technicians
• Facilitate on-the-job training on processes, equipment usage, and asset safety practices
• Ensure an injury-free working environment
• Utilize technology for work order management and record-keeping
• Perform landscaping tasks such as cutting grass, weed management, and other tasks
• Manage irrigation, pressure washing, and exterior building/grounds maintenance
• Troubleshoot and prioritize work

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the commercial landscaping/exterior building maintenance and leading teams
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to facilitate required on the job training
• Proficiency in utilizing technology (phones, tablets, laptops)
• Willingness and ability to perform landscaping tasks with or without specialized equipment
• Knowledge of planting, pruning techniques, and pest/disease management through chemical applications
• Experience in commercial exterior maintenance including irrigation, pressure washing, and exterior building/grounds maintenance
• Strong customer service orientation
• Commitment to upholding company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics, integrity, and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid, state-issued driver's license
• Valid state-issued driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• Active EPA 608 certification
• Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification during pre-hire contingency and ability to maintain a minimum of a 90 day Medical Examiner’s Certification (MEC) card
• No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three (3) years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years, if driving a commercial motor vehicle
• No serious traffic violations (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the 3 years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle
• No preventable accidents (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last 3 years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle
• Ability to read and speak in the English language
• 2 years’ experience in the landscaping/gardening industry
• Option 1: 1 year’s experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area
• Option 2: 2 years’ Walmart store experience

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 - $45.00*
