Lead Technician – Cell Culture

About the Role

Werfen is seeking a professional to join our team in a role that contributes to our worldwide leadership in specialized diagnostics across Hemostasis, Acute Care Diagnostics, Transfusion, Autoimmunity, and Transplant. This position involves working within our Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) business line, where we research, develop, and manufacture customized assays and biomaterials. The successful candidate will support our commitment to providing healthcare professionals with valuable and complete solutions to improve hospital efficiency and enhance patient care.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and manufacture customized assays and biomaterials within the OEM business line
• Support operational activities across the company's global technology centers located in the US and Europe
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance diagnostic solutions in hemostasis, acute care, transfusion, autoimmunity, and transplant areas
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in quality and innovation
• Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with customer needs and market demands
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and quality standards in diagnostic manufacturing

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in diagnostics, biotechnology, or related life sciences field
• Knowledge of assay development, manufacturing processes, or biomaterials
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the medical device or in vitro diagnostics industry
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (biology, chemistry, biochemistry, engineering, or related field)
