Lead Technical Content Strategist (Remote)
About the role
The Lead Technical Content Strategist will be responsible for user documentation that accompanies the assigned software product or products. Responsibilities include applying Technical Communication fundamentals, coordinating with support staff, translating complex technical content, conducting content analysis, interviewing SMEs, and participating in UX meetings.
Qualifications
- Experience: Ten to fifteen (10-15) years of technical writing experience, preferably with software or online systems. Clinical Experience a plus. Experience with Rave CTMS or related CTMS software a plus.
- Education: Bachelor degree in English, Technical Communication, Engineering or scientific discipline strongly preferred. Master's degree a plus. CPTC (STC Certification) a plus. Project Management (PMI/PMP) certification a plus. Scrum certification or relevant training a plus.
- Communication skills: Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills (both spoken and written). Demonstrate emotional intelligence and open-mindedness toward diversity and inclusion. Participate and contribute to team building strategy. Demonstrate ability to have crucial conversations with team members. Evangelize TCS goals and process changes and execute agreed solutions with minimal supervision.
- Tools & Competencies: Familiarity with tools such as: Confluence, Jira, Notebook LM, Acrolinx, Pendo, Google suite. Project Management skills a plus. Ability to read basic code and/or program a plus. Knowledge of APIs a plus. Familiarity with programming languages, databases, networks, and knowledge infrastructure a plus. Experience working in an Agile environment preferred. Demonstrate ability to learn new tools and processes quickly. Attention to detail. Ability to work on multiple assignments under tight deadlines. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Ability to adapt to rapid changes in the team or Company. Demonstrate good listening skills.
