Lead Tech - Full-Time

About the role

The Lead Technician is a hands-on, leadership-focused team member responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care in the surgical suite. Under supervision, they direct workflow within the specialty, promote collaboration among the healthcare team, and participate in unit and system committees.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical scrubbing and assist with circulating duties
• Maintain supply levels in the surgical suite
• Support operational and strategic planning
• Assist in budget monitoring
• Demonstrate competency in computer and MSM systems
• Set up OR rooms efficiently and maintain equipment
• Act as a mentor and foster staff development
• Serve as a resource and preceptor for new staff
• Seek and maintain national certification
• Use resources wisely

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
• Professional certification
• High school diploma (preferred)
