Responsibilities

• Moves up to 70 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.
• Wears respirator and safety gear when job conditions warrant.
• Directs daily jobsite operations for technicians and subcontractors.
• Performs and verifies moisture inspections, moisture mapping, and psychrometric calculations.
• Determines appropriate drying, cleaning, containment, and deodorization strategies in coordination with Project Management.
• Sets up, monitors, and adjusts drying, filtration, and air scrubber equipment.
• Oversees controlled demolition and removal per approved scope.
• Enforces PPE usage, containment, and cross-contamination control.
• Conducts quality control inspections to ensure compliance with IICRC standards and company SOPs.
• Documents moisture readings, equipment placement, job progress, and photos using restoration software.
• Communicates professionally with customers, adjusters, and internal teams.
• Trains, mentors, and evaluates technicians at all skill levels.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in restoration, mitigation, or disaster recovery.
• Demonstrated leadership or crew lead experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift 70+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
• Availability for emergency response and on-call rotation.
• IICRC WRT and FSRT required; ASD, AMRT, or additional certifications strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of drying science, psychrometrics, and material behavior.
• Experience with insurance-driven restoration and adjuster coordination.
• Proficiency in restoration documentation and job management software.
• Experience assisting with job scoping, supplements, and scope validation.
