Now hiring a 2nd Shift Lead Behavioral Health Associate (Lead Tech) with a $2,500 sign-on bonus for full-time positions.

About the role

Join the Cove Forge Williamsburg team as a Lead Behavioral Health Associate (Lead Tech) to provide leadership, support patient care, and help maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff. Under the supervision of the Manager-Patient Support, the Lead Tech oversees patient monitoring activities and provides guidance and supervision to Behavioral Health Associate staff during assigned shifts. This role supports daily operations, staff development, patient safety, and treatment success.

As a Behavioral Health Associate, you play a vital role in keeping patients safe while supporting their recovery. You will provide hands-on care and compassionate support in a structured, team-focused environment where your work truly matters. Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership.
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
  • Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional approach with patients and team members.
  • Address patient concerns promptly and respectfully to support satisfaction and safety.
  • Recognize and respond to patient needs with safety as a top priority.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months of experience working with a similar patient population preferred.
  • CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required. Training provided upon hire.
  • First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
