About the role

Store 2743608 located at 3100 Oakland Avenue, Indiana, Pennsylvania 15701. Shift availability: flexible (days, evenings, overnights + weekends). Time type: full‑time.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt excellent customer service; greets and thanks customers; offers suggestions; rings up sales accurately handling money, checks, other payments.
• Performs multi‑function operation of fuel console, lottery machines, money order machine, telecom transactions.
• Maintains store facility condition and equipment: cleaning, housekeeping, inspecting for safety, contacting maintenance.
• Completes build‑to’s for ordering; receives and verifies vendor deliveries; maintains adequate stock; rotates stock; places advertising and pricing signage.
• Controls merchandise, cash shortages, and selling expenses; assists with inventory levels and shift audits.
• Monitors shift sales, cash handling, daily close‑out; notifies manager of discrepancies; may receive/sign vendor deliveries; follows guidelines for product breakage/spoilage.
• Supervises customer service representatives in absence of Assistant Manager; coaches/trains new employees; monitors traffic and adjusts staffing; assists with counseling and feedback; may manage fast‑food service area; knows gasoline pricing strategy and adjusts prices.
• Reports incidents (injuries, theft, property damage, unsafe/unsanitary conditions) to Store Manager.
• Performs shift change duties: counting cash drawer, recording employee purchases, completing end‑of‑shift reports; keeps accurate time records; may take inventory; attends job‑related meetings; provides regular onsite attendance; completes daily store reports and other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to work with the equipment, tools and materials listed (fuel console, lottery machines, money order machine, telecom, cash register, etc.).
• Ability to work as scheduled, arriving on time.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly.
• Ability to perform the four basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) preferred.
• Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions described.
• Ability to work in the conditions described.

Qualifications

• Physical demands: ability to be exposed to cold/warm temperature extremes (walk‑in cooler/freezer, outdoors); occasionally lift/carry up to 30 lb ground to overhead; occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lb ground to waist; grasp, reach, manipulate objects with hands entire shift; push/pull up to 20 lb; reach overhead; bend/twist at waist; communicate orally; operate cash register/computer keyboard; stoop, kneel, squat, bend, push, pull; work alone; occasional noise; stand/walk entire shift; may climb ladder to store/retrieve materials or place/remove signs.
• Work environment: approximately 95% indoor work, with occasional outdoor tasks (cleaning parking lots, gas pumps, taking out garbage); exposure to extreme cold temperatures in walk‑in cooler/freezer; occasional noise; work with minimum direction and periodic supervision.

Pay

Hiring range: $16.00 to $16.50 per hour.
