Lead Teacher - Full Time

About the role

The Goddard School in Rochester, MI is seeking energetic, nurturing lead teachers to join our team. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about positively impacting children's lives and making a difference in the world of early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging activities for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Observe children's interests and work with other teachers to develop a curriculum
• Communicate with parents through various means, such as mobile apps and personal discussions
• Engage with other infant, toddler, and preschool teachers to continue professional growth
• Work in a clean, state-of-the-art facility with strict health and safety guidelines

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Ability to maintain a positive and nurturing environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• At least one year of teaching experience preferred
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of early childhood development and education
