Full-time Lead Teacher

About This Role

Golden Path Academy in Stephenson, VA is hiring a Full-time Lead Teacher to support daily operations at an early childhood education center. This position offers $13 – $15/Hr and requires relevant professional experience.

What You'll Do

Join our amazing team and provide developmental care and supervision to children at the center. As a Golden Path Academy Lead Teacher, you will implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that foster growth and development. You will also establish and maintain positive relationships with children, co-teachers, and parents, modeling excellent childcare practices.

• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of your students
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
• Track individual child development and complete bi-annual progress reports
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents through regular communication
• Utilize a school-provided application to stay connected with parents throughout the day

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have fulfilled a high school program or the equivalent
• Must meet one of the following requirements:
• Have a bachelor's degree in a child-related field
• Have 3 months of program experience and an early childhood certificate or CDA.
• Have 6 months of supervised program experience and 24 hours of approved training.
• Have 48 semester hours of college credit, with at least 12 hours in child-related subjects, and one year of program experience.
