Lead teacher for Intro to PreK position
About the Role
The Lead Teacher will assist with planning, developing, and implementing activities such as gross motor games and art projects in our infant-Pre-K classrooms. You will be responsible for the safety of the children at all times, including understanding and implementing emergency procedures as needed.
Qualifications
The Lead Teacher must meet one of the following qualification levels:
- A high school diploma or GED and 30 credit hours from an accredited college/university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field.
- A college degree in Childcare.
- A high school diploma or GED, including 600+ hours of secondary training as described in PA Code 3270.319 (relating to age and training).
- A high school diploma or GED, 15 credit hours from an accredited college/university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field, and 1 year of experience with children.
- A high school diploma or GED and completion of a post-secondary training curriculum described in PA Code 3270.31.
- A high school diploma or GED and 2 years of experience with children.
