Pay
Salary range of $18+ per hour based on experience
Schedule
9-hour workday with a 1-hour lunch break

Responsibilities
- Supervise classroom and co-lead all classroom activities throughout the course of the day
- Observe children’s interests and work with co-teachers to develop creative ideas for implementing the Wonder of Learning curriculum
- Develop weekly lesson plans alongside our Curriculum Coordinator
- Communicate with parents daily, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions
- Engage with other childcare professionals and continue to grow in your profession
Qualifications
- Affiliation with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- A Child Development Associate (CDA) certification preferred
- At least 1 year of teaching experience in a classroom setting
- At least 1 year of experience working with children aged 4 to 6 years
- Ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
- Ability to work cooperatively alongside all co-teachers and school resource teachers
- Ability to work productively without supervision within established organizational policies and procedures
- Highly motivated and able to take direction well
- Ability to complete weekly lesson plans and carry them out within the classroom
- Commitment to following Goddard and state licensing guidelines to ensure the health, safety, and education of all children
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
