About This Role

This Lead Teacher Float opportunity at Living Christ Preschool serves Mixed / All Ages and requires a willingness to earn a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, with employer support. Based in Madison, WI, candidates bring experience in early childhood education and development.

What You'll Do

• Assist with planning, meal times, and breaks across different areas as needed.
• Teach preschool-aged children through interactive and developmentally suitable activities.
• Establish a fun and secure learning environment.
• Develop and implement schedules and routines to ensure adequate rest, playtime, and physical activity.
• Foster positive relationships with students and their families.
• Maintain the health and safety of all students.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in childcare, teaching, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
• A passion for working with children.
• The ability to build rapport with children.
• A positive and patient demeanor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or related fields preferred but not required.

Nice to Have

• An associate's degree preferred but not required.
• Full-time availability.
• Lead qualified.
