LEAD TEACHER

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct developmental assessments
• Gain a thorough understanding of each child’s individual challenges
• Make appropriate adaptations for children with special needs
• Maintain up-to-date documentation
• Ensure classroom designs and operations meet TN State licensing standards and the 3-Star Rating Program and Tennessee’s Early Learning Standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Absolutely required: Associates Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or Special Education along with experience with young children or children with disabilities
• Alternatively acceptable: High School Diploma along with child development training and at least 1 year-experience with young children or children with disabilities
