About the role

The Lead Teacher at James Love Elementary is responsible for overseeing classroom operations, mentoring new teachers, and implementing innovative educational strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support new teachers in the school
• Oversee daily classroom operations and ensure compliance with district policies
• Implement and evaluate new educational programs and initiatives
• Collaborate with other educators to develop and implement curriculum improvements
• Assist in the recruitment and selection of new staff members

Requirements

• Licensure as a teacher in North Carolina
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field
• At least three years of teaching experience
• Experience in leading and mentoring teachers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
